The mess we’re in

Joe Armstrong (creator of Erlang) gives an engaging talk about information complexity and how to use it to remove the complexity of the information systems we have created. I really like this for its systematic and analytic approach.

While I really appreciate the ideas of getting rid of URLs and finding duplicate content, I don’t see how he plans on reducing the complexity in our software. He’s a smart person, he’ll think of something. But what could it be?
