Setting up and using Clojure/script in the WSL - Windows Subsystem for Linux

Saw your email today with your links to setting up clojure in various environments. The new one that I’ve been using for the past few weeks is the in the WSL on an Ubuntu kernel. Works great on the whole. Only issue I’m currently trying to sort out is getting OOM errors from figwheel recompiling that I didn’t get before when using a Vagrant Ubuntu vm when trying to run both clj and cljs together locally.

I’m curious if you’ve tried this or seen additional configuration approaches.

Hey there!

Yeah, I’ve never used WSL. It has been many years since I ran Windows.

Have you tried setting the max heap size larger? -Xmx1G for 1 GB.
